Synopsis

STORY GOES HERE

"A crucible of psychosexual horror." - The New York Times

When two sisters are reunited in the stuffy home of the white-gloved, watchful-eyed, social climbing Madame Danzard, the oppressive atmosphere is thick with things unsaid, and deeds with the potential to undo them all. Based on a true and truly brutal murder in provincial 1933 France, My Sister In This House depicts the lives of four women—two maids and their too-vigilant mistresses— whose close quarters force a clash of class and ignite deadly desire.

Christine and Léa Papin, the real life women upon whom the Lutton girls are based, really did brutally murder their mistress and her daughter in 1933 in Le Mans, France. Find out more about the gruesome tale.
